Keith B. Hochheiser
Keith B. Hochheiser is a founding partner of Hochheiser & Akmal. Mr. Hochheiser has broad experience in domestic and international corporate and commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, complex joint ventures and joint development transactions, reorganizations and worldwide licensing, distribution, sale of goods transactions and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Hochheiser’s experience is across diverse industries and subject matter including multinational semi-conductor, electronic component and aerospace manufacturers, software companies and distributors.
Mr. Hochheiser regularly negotiates and drafts international joint venture, technology and supply agreements with first-tier multinational enterprises and component manufacturers.
Mr. Hochheiser is also active in the beverage industry and has participated in key consolidations in the red, blue and gold networks, including, New York, New Jersey, Maine, the Front Range and Utah, among other areas. Transactions also include the transfer of brands to the Anheuser-Busch metro NY distributors in connection with the AB InBev consolidation, the sale of Blue Point Brewing Co. to Anheuser-Busch InBev, and the tax-free exchange of Anheuser-Busch’s Kentucky branch operation. Mr. Hochheiser structured and represented the Empire Craft Alliance, a group of top shelf beer distributors covering all of New York state for the purpose of attracting high-end beverage suppliers by providing a one-stop shopping solution to distribution.
Mr. Hochheiser provides practical worldwide solutions to regulatory compliance including RoHS, WEEE, ITAR, FARS, and DFARS.
Mr. Hochheiser is a director of a number of multi-national manufacturing and beverage entities.
Mr. Hochheiser is a frequent lecturer on current topics relevant to his practice areas.
Mr. Hochheiser is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, National Beer Wholesalers Association, and New York State Beer Wholesalers Association. Mr. Hochheiser is also active in his community where he serves as director of the Central Property Owners Association of Garden City, NY.
Mr. Hochheiser graduated from Bentley College in 1987, magna cum laude. He received his Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law in 1990. He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut.
