Liam P. Sugrue

Liam P. Sugrue is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice.  His practice focuses on commercial transactions, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, distribution and franchising transactions, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, international business law, and business formation.

Mr. Sugrue received a B.A. in Criminology from Stonehill College where he was also Captain of the Men’s Lacrosse Team. Mr. Sugrue received his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University with a Business Law Honors Concentration. At Hofstra Law he was the Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of International Business and Law, Volume 22 as well as the Founder and President of the Irish Law Society.

Mr. Sugrue is the author of “The Collegiate Sports Revolution: The Expected and Unexpected Effects of the Supreme Court’s Latest Ruling on Paying College Athletes” which was published in the Journal of International Business and Law, Volume 21.2.

Mr. Sugrue is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
